A Letter to an Old Friend

Reading
Dear James,
I hope this letter finds you well. It’s been a long time since we last spoke — almost three years! I’ve been meaning to write to you, but life has been very busy.
A lot has changed since university. I moved to Barcelona last summer for a new job. I work as a designer at a small company that makes mobile apps. The work is interesting and my colleagues are great.
I’m still learning Spanish, which is quite challenging but fun. I take classes twice a week. My teacher says my pronunciation is improving, but I still make a lot of mistakes when I write!
Barcelona is a beautiful city. The weather is much better than London, and the food is amazing. I go to the beach almost every weekend.
What about you? I heard you got married last year — congratulations! I’m sorry I couldn’t attend the wedding. I would love to hear all about it.
Please write back when you have time. Or even better — come and visit me in Barcelona!
Best wishes, David
